Job summary

Hannaford is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to prevent theft and protect store assets. You will work with store leadership on loss prevention, maintain detailed reports, and coordinate with local authorities as needed.

The role requires vigilance, discretion, and the ability to operate security technology. You will support the regional asset protection team, train new coordinators, and work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Able to work independently and make quick, sound decisions.
• Must pass criminal background check and be able to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Asset Protection in shrink reduction activities and audit functions.
• Develop knowledge of the criminal justice system and related laws.
• Maintain relationships with local police and court systems.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports and files.
• Deter shoplifting and assist in court appearances when required.
• Utilize CCTV and asset protection technologies effectively.
