Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Minnesota is seeking store teammates to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will greet customers, help them find products, and uphold merchandising standards while working with a supportive team.

The role emphasizes safety, inclusivity, and participation in company programs; the store aims to create a welcoming environment and provide flexible, hands-on support across shifts.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking. Height work up to 4 feet with ladder or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours continuously).

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards.
• Promote company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment).
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures, and maintain confidentiality of Company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Targeted Pay Range: $12.50 - $19.50. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
