Job summary

Spin Master is seeking a part-time Field Merchandiser to service the Indianapolis market (Central Zip 46208). You will visit Walmart and Target locations to stock, price, and feature products, and build in-store displays across about 24 stores.

This role requires physical work (lifting up to 40 lbs), use of a mobile merchandising app for reporting, and independent multi-store scheduling. A reliable vehicle, valid license, and active insurance are required; 24 hours per week with flexible weekday

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales or retail merchandising in big-box retailers (Walmart, Target).
• Strong understanding of retail store operations, planograms, and inventory management.
• Experience managing multi-store service schedules independently.
• Ability to perform physical retail labor, including standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and active vehicle insurance.
• Access to high-speed internet and comfort using mobile reporting apps.

Responsibilities

• Maintain on-shelf product availability by stocking shelves, packing out inventory, and setting promotional features.
• Build and maintain high-impact product displays at prominent store locations.
• Sell in product and promotional displays through Direct to Store Sales Program.
• Collect and submit inventory data, pricing audits, and display photos using the merchandising mobile app.
• Establish professional relationships with store managers to maximize brand influence in-store.
• Monitor stock levels, flag discrepancies and track product performance.

Job Description:

Servicing the Indianapolis, IN market area (Central Zip Code 46208), you will visit key big-box retail locations to ensure our products are stocked, priced correctly, and visually prominent. This role is responsible for executing retail merchandising standards, managing inventory on the floor, and building in-store displays to drive brand visibility. This is a part-time, field-based role working 24 hours per week during weekday business hours, covering a territory of at least 24 retail locations (Walmart and Target).

How will you create impact?

• Maintain on-shelf product availability by stocking shelves, packing out incoming inventory, and setting planned promotional features
• Build, place, and maintain high-impact, incremental product displays at prominent store locations
• You are a strong negotiator with a flair for sales to sell in product and promotional displays to stores through our Direct to Store Sales Program
• Collect and submit accurate inventory data, pricing audits, and display photos using our retail merchandising mobile application
• Establish and nurture professional working relationships with store managers and department leads to maximize brand influence in-store
• Monitor store-level stock levels, flagging inventory discrepancies and tracking product performance trends

What are your skills and experience?

• Professional experience in field sales or retail merchandising, specifically working within big-box retail environments such as Walmart and Target
• Strong understanding of retail store operations, planograms, and inventory management practices
• Experience managing a multi-store service schedule independently with high efficiency and minimal oversight
• Ability to perform physical retail labor, including standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 40 lbs of product and displays
• Reliable personal vehicle for daily store-to-store travel, a valid driver’s license, and proof of active vehicle insurance
• Access to high-speed internet and comfort utilizing mobile applications for daily reporting
• The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Indiana is $18 to $19 Per Hour.
• The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.
