Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a consumer products manufacturer to hire a Sales Analyst to support the sales team with detailed analysis reporting and insights. Hybrid 3 days – Glenview/Deerfield, IL area, $70k-$85k.

You will track sales trends, identify opportunities for growth, and translate data into actionable insights to influence business decisions across multiple channels in the Illinois market.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in sales planning, sales analytics, customer analytics exposure.
• Retail, CPG, sales planning, trade marketing, category management, or customer analytics exposure.
• Understanding of large retailer dynamics.
• Proficient in Excel with large data sets and data analysis tools (Power BI or Tableau).
• PowerPoint and executive presentation.
• Able to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Track, analyze and develop reports providing key insights into sales performance, KPIs, and other metrics to assess effectiveness of sale strategies.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis that supports specific sales initiatives, product launches, or promotions.
• Use analytics to develop/implement sales strategies geared to promote growth, market share and profitability.
• Coordinate with Sales to plan/execute promotions and price changes.
• Provide analytical support to sales and leadership for decision making and strategic planning.
