Job summary

Makita USA is seeking a Retail Sales Analyst to support Home Depot retail and e-commerce, analyzing store sales performance, monitoring sell-through trends, and assisting with monthly order forecasting. This role collaborates with Home Depot partners and internal teams to drive best-in-class execution.

The position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and BI tools, and the ability to communicate insights clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience with BI tools and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute weekly and year-to-date POS reporting for Home Depot team.
• Monitor product sell-through for events and assortments.
• Track daily Home Depot store purchases and provide weekly analytics on shipments and lost sales.
• Support promotion execution with promo spreadsheets and planning materials.
• Participate in customer calls with Home Depot merchants and National Account Managers.
• Maintain communication with Home Depot partners on category performance and inventory.
