Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking an energetic retail professional to support store management and ensure an excellent customer experience at TJ Maxx Meadville. You will help with daily operations, cash handling, and maintaining store standards.

You will participate in hiring-related tasks, training, and scheduling, while promoting honesty, integrity, and teamwork. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required; prior retail and leadership experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and at least 6 months in a leadership role.
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changes.
• Ability to train others and work well with peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Supports store management in execution of store administrative functions.
• Engages with customers to ensure an excellent shopping experience.
• Maintains cash office standards and assists with cash handling.
• Participates in scheduling, onboarding, and helping manage Associate files.
• Ensures adherence to labor policies and store plan, prioritizing tasks.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs and supports shrink reduction goals.
