Job summary

AmLaw Firm is seeking an Associate Attorney in the Restructuring & Special Situations Finance Practice Group with a strong background in bankruptcy and related transactions. This hybrid role offers exposure to high-profile matters and cross-border opportunities in a top-tier environment.

The candidate should have a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar admission, and 3–7 years of relevant experience. Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3–7 years of substantive experience in restructuring, bankruptcy, and/or special situations finance transactions.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex restructuring and insolvency matters, in-court and out-of-court.
• Advise creditors, debtors, and investors in distressed and special situations financings.
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, restructuring support agreements, and related transaction documents.
• Support liability management transactions, recapitalizations, and distressed M&A opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, corporate, and litigation attorneys.
