Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active bar admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3–7 years of substantive experience in restructuring, bankruptcy, and/or special situations finance transactions.
• Experience representing creditors, debtors, sponsors, or financial institutions in distressed scenarios.
• Large law firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex restructuring and insolvency matters, in-court and out-of-court.
• Advise creditors, debtors, and investors in distressed and special situations financings.
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, restructuring support agreements, and related documents.
• Support liability management transactions, recapitalizations, and distressed M&A opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, corporate, and litigation attorneys.
