Habitat for Humanity of Fannin & Gilmer Co., Inc. is seeking a full-time ReStore Manager to oversee daily operations at the Blue Ridge ReStore in GA.

You will supervise staff and volunteers, coordinate donation pickups and deliveries, and manage merchandising, pricing, inventory, and daily cash handling. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and community engagement, with collaboration on sales and fundraising goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or nonprofit store management, including supervising staff and volunteers.
• Experience with inventory control, merchandising, pricing, and basic sales reporting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage community members, donors, and volunteers in a respectful, inclusive manner.
• Ability to maintain a safe, organized, and clean facility, including adherence to safety protocols and handling of donated goods.
• Basic financial and administrative skills, such as cash handling, use of point-of-sale systems, and maintaining accurate records.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to perform job duties that may include standing for extended periods and lifting or moving merchandise as needed.
• Commitment to Habitat for Humanity’s mission and values, with a willingness to represent the organization positively in the community.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in retail, nonprofit, or related fields is strongly preferred.

Role Description

The ReStore Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, ensuring it runs efficiently, safely, and in alignment with the organization’s mission. This full-time, on-site role is located in Blue Ridge, GA, and includes managing staff and volunteers, coordinating donation pick ups and deliveries, and providing direction and support throughout the workday. The ReStore Manager supervises store merchandising, pricing, and inventory management, including accepting, sorting, and displaying donated items to maximize sales revenue. The role involves monitoring cash handling procedures, managing point-of-sale operations, preparing basic reports, and maintaining accurate records. The ReStore Manager also promotes excellent customer service, supports community outreach, collaborates with the affiliate leadership on sales and fundraising goals, and ensures compliance with safety and facility standards.
