Job summary
Aegis Therapies in Rolla, MO is seeking a CNA/Wellness Instructor for Restorative Care to join our Rehab Therapy team on a PRN basis. You will deliver wellness, fitness and exercise programs under supervision and support the therapy team.
No restorative experience is required beyond CNA certification; on-site training is provided to enable exclusive restorative tasks and safe patient mobility support. Flexible hours and professional growth await.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA in the state of practice.
- Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist or similar area, preferred.
- Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver wellness, fitness and exercise programs with therapy team support.
- Receive full restorative training onsite; CNA certification required.
- Assist in restorative care of patients as directed.
- Perform exclusive restorative tasks such as ambulation, transfers, bed mobility, ROM, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care.
