Job summary

Aegis Therapies in Moose Lake, MN is seeking a Wellness Instructor in Restorative Care to join our Rehab Therapy Team. As a CNA/Wellness Instructor, you will deliver wellness, fitness and exercise programs under supervision of the therapy team.

You will receive full restorative training onsite; CNA certification is required. The role emphasizes gentle, patient-centered care with emphasis on ambulation, mobility and safe exercise for senior residents.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification in state of practice.
• Specialty certification as personal trainer/exercise specialist/fitness instructor preferred.
• Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations preferred.
• No restorative experience required—onsite restorative training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide wellness, fitness and exercise programs in coordination with the therapy team.
• Assist in restorative care with ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, ROM, dressing/grooming and prosthesis care.
• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation/Therapy and work exclusively with the therapy team.
• Deliver exclusive restorative duties with limited other CNA tasks.
