Job summary

Warren Barr South Loop in Chicago, IL is seeking a Restorative Nurse to join our dynamic team. You will oversee the restorative nursing department, guide care plans, and help residents achieve optimal mobility in a modern, upscale setting.

The ideal candidate holds an IL RN or LPN license with CPR certification and 2+ years of restorative nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility. Join us and contribute to exceptional resident care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered IL RN or LPN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Two (2) years of Restorative RN or LPN experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise all aspects of the restorative nursing department.
• Assist residents to reach and maintain mobility.
• Evaluate residents' restorative nursing programs and perform assessments.
• Participate in resident admission and discharge planning.
• Contribute to resident care plans and complete applicable MDS documentation.

As a Restorative Nurse, your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by overseeing and supervising all aspects of the restorative nursing department, assisting residents reach and maintain their full mobility potential, evaluating residents restorative nursing programs, performing resident assessments, participating in the resident admission and discharge planning, contributing to resident care plans and completing applicable portions of MDS documentation. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants must have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Illinois RN or LPN license and C.P.R certification. Two (2) years of Restorative RN or LPN experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferred.
