Job summary

The Alden Network in Chicago seeks an experienced restorative nurse to lead, implement, and monitor our restorative nursing program. You will coordinate with nursing, therapy, and dietary teams to ensure adherence to the care plan and maintain documentation of progress.

Responsibilities include staff collaboration, quarterly progress notes, and participation in care planning conferences to promote residents’ highest level of function.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unencumbered nursing license in Illinois (RN or LPN).
• Must be restorative certified by an accredited school or recognized accrediting agency.
• Must have current CPR certification or obtain within two weeks of employment.
• Must read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, and direct restorative care services per regulations.
• Maintain unit lists of customers in restorative programs with progress details.
• Ensure daily restorative nursing documentation in EMR.
• Collaborate with Nursing, Therapy, and Dietary to provide necessary accessories and devices.
• Oversee CNA documentation and incontinent management programs.
• Participate in care planning conferences and MDS/CAA summaries.
