Job summary

The Alden Estates of Jefferson is seeking a dedicated Restorative Nurse to lead our restorative nursing program, promoting a restorative philosophy across the facility and ensuring residents achieve their highest possible level of function.

You will plan and supervise restorative care services, coordinate documentation, and work with CNAs and nursing staff to implement comprehensive care plans, with opportunities for growth within the Alden network.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin.
• Prefer restorative certified by an accredited school or recognized accrediting agency

Responsibilities

• Planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing restorative care services, programs, and activities.
• Setting up documentation flow sheets and EMR for daily restorative nursing measures.
• Overseeing all restorative nursing measures reflected on the care plan.
• Performing or overseeing functional assessments on admission and quarterly; collaborating with nurses on the restorative plan of care.
• Overseeing ADL performance, CNA documentation, and incontinent management programs.
• Participating in or overseeing physical restraint reduction and fall management programs

Restorative Nurse

Alden Estates of Jefferson, a renowned post-acute care facility, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Restorative Nurse to join our team! As a Restorative Nurse, you will play a vital role in developing, implementing, and supervising our restorative nursing program, promoting a restorative nursing philosophy among all facility departments, and ensuring participants achieve their highest level of function.

About the Role:

• Planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing restorative care services, programs, and activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines
• Setting up documentation flow sheets and electronic medical record systems for daily documentation of restorative nursing measures
• Overseeing all restorative nursing measures are reflected on the care plan
• Performing or overseeing functional assessments on admission and quarterly as indicated, consulting with nurses in making recommendations for restorative plan of care, and working with nurses in developing restorative plan of care
• Overseeing ADL performance on units, overseeing C.N.A.'s documentation on ADL's, and overseeing incontinent management programs
• Actively participating or overseeing physical restraint reduction programs and fall management programs
