Job summary

RiverPointe Post-Acute Rehab in Carmichael, CA is seeking a Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to support recovery through restorative programs under nursing supervision. You will assist with ambulation, ROM, and ADLs, documenting progress and coordinating with the rehab team.

The role requires a CNA and RNA certification, current CPR/BLS, and a commitment to safe patient handling and high-quality care. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CNA certificate required.
• Valid RNA certificate required.
• National Provider BLS or CPR (American Heart Association) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Encourage residents to participate in activities of daily living to maintain or improve independence.
• Document resident participation and progress in accordance with facility policy and state regulations.
• Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation staff to ensure restorative services meet each resident’s needs.
• Recommend adjustments to residents’ restorative care as needed.
• Practice proper body mechanics and assist with safe positioning, transfers, and mobility support.

Position Overview:

The Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) continues the maintenance program established and instructed by Physical Therapist and/or Occupational Therapist with a physician’s order. Performs other restorative programs for assigned residents under the direction of the Director of Nursing or designee .
