Job summary

The Springs Post-Acute, a 99-bed skilled nursing facility, is seeking a Restorative Nursing Aide to help patients reach their highest level of functioning. You will support restorative exercises, assist with daily living activities, and work closely with nurses, therapists, and other care team members to implement individualized care plans.

This role emphasizes compassionate interaction, patient motivation, and safe, therapeutic engagement in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• RNA/CNA certification preferred.
• Experience in restorative care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with restorative exercises and daily living activities to promote independence.
• Monitor and report patient progress and any changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Encourage patients to participate in their care and engage in social activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients during therapy sessions.
• Document patient responses and progress accurately in medical records.
• Support the nursing team in implementing individualized care plans.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive atmosphere.

About the Position:

We are looking for a dedicated Restorative Nursing Aide to join our dynamic team in the Skilled Nursing facility. In this role, you will engage with patients and assist them in achieving their highest level of functioning. Your work will focus on encouraging and motivating patients to perform their restorative exercises and daily living activities, all while fostering a supportive and positive environment.
