Job summary

Tice Valley Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to join our full-time team, starting at $23.00 per hour. The RNA will work with nursing and rehabilitation staff to implement restorative programs that maintain or improve residents’ mobility, strength, and independence.

Qualifications include current CNA certification and experience in skilled nursing or rehab, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification preferred/required depending on facility requirements.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Knowledge of safe transfer, positioning, and mobility techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with restorative nursing programs and activities.
• Support residents with ambulation, transfers, range-of-motion exercises, and positioning.
• Encourage independence with activities of daily living.
• Follow individualized restorative care plans and facility protocols.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' condition, mobility, or functional status.
• Document restorative activities accurately and timely.
• Work collaboratively with CNAs, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection-control standards.
