Newport Nursing & Rehab, a Generations Healthcare facility, is seeking a Restorative Nursing Assistant in Newport, CA. The position offers a $23-$26/hr pay range DOE and runs M-F with opportunities to contribute to quality patient care under licensed therapists.

The successful candidate will assist with restorative therapies, support CNAs, and help ensure accurate documentation and patient safety. A valid CA Restorative Nurse Assistant license and English communication skills are required.

Formación

• High School graduate.
• Current CA Restorative Nurse Assistant License.
• Must have knowledge of medical terminology as applied to Rehabilitation and Restorative Nursing.
• Able to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• On‑job orientation completion or demonstrated competency in designated areas.
• Able to move and transfer residents per treatment and training program.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with routine physical and occupational therapy treatments and follows goals and precautions.
• Provides direct restorative care and delegated therapy tasks.
• Supports CNAs with positioning, ROM, ambulation, ADLs, splints and safety devices.
• Follows safety regulations and maintains a clean, safe work area and equipment.
• Communicates with facility staff and coordinates with therapists to schedule treatments.
• Transports and facilitates patient care as directed by therapists.
• Prepares patient equipment and supplies for treatment.
