Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Evidence of job stability.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Ability to take supervision.

• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
• Currently enrolled in a Restorative Aide class or have a Restorative Aide Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform ROM exercises per physician’s order.
• Ambulation and transfer techniques.
• Positioning and bed mobility.
• ADLs assistance (dressing, grooming, self-feeding).
• Assist with adaptive devices and splint application.
• Document observations daily and summarize weekly progress notes.
• Report changes to Charge Nurse and Director of Nursing Services.
• Participate in resident Plan of Care conference.
• Follow physician’s orders and attend in-service classes.
• Other related duties as assigned.
