Job summary

The VIOS Clinic is seeking a dedicated Restorative Nursing Aide to deliver resident-centered care in a long-term care setting under RN supervision. You will assist with daily activities and support residents' independence.

This role emphasizes restorative care, safety, infection control, accurate documentation, and teamwork, with opportunities for ongoing competency training and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be CNA certified with a valid state license.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or long-term care experience is a plus.
• Completion of CNA training, including restorative care procedures, with ongoing competency testing and continuing education.
• Dependent on role, may require a valid driver’s license and medical clearance for driving responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and eating, ensuring age-appropriate and individualized care.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, mobility, fall prevention, and repositioning techniques to promote residents' independence and quality of life.
• Use adaptive equipment and proper procedures for activities like heat or ice therapy while adhering to safety and infection control guidelines.
• Accurately document care, monitor resident progress, and promptly report changes in condition.
• Maintain proper use of PPE, handle linens appropriately, and follow transmission prevention protocols.
• Support residents' physical and psychological needs according to care plans, demonstrating knowledge of age-specific care requirements.
