Job summary

Mantey Heights Rehabilitation & Care Center in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Full-Time Restorative Nursing Aide (RNA). The role involves providing restorative programs to help residents maintain or improve physical functioning and independence, in collaboration with nursing and therapy teams.

Qualifications include current CNA certification and good standing with state requirements. Restorative/Skilled Nursing experience is preferred, with training offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must have current CNA certification and be in good standing with state certification requirements.
• Experience in restorative nursing or skilled nursing is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to safely assist residents with transfers, mobility, positioning, and restorative exercises.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills are essential.
• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide restorative nursing services per resident care plans.
• Assist with ROM, ambulation, transfers, positioning, and mobility.
• Encourage participation in restorative activities and promote independence in ADLs.
• Assist with walking programs and use of walkers, wheelchairs, and devices.
• Document resident participation, progress, and response to programs.
• Observe changes in condition and report concerns to the nurse.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other team members.
