Job summary
National HealthCare Corporation’s NHC Springfield facility seeks a compassionate Restorative Nurse (RN or LPN) to support restorative nursing and fall-prevention programs. You will help patients maintain mobility, independence, dignity, and quality of life while reducing fall risk and complications.
You will implement the Restorative Nursing Program, develop individualized plans, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, educate partners, and document progress.
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee RN or LPN license in good standing.
- Knowledge of restorative nursing practices and long-term care regulations.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, restorative nursing, or fall-prevention preferred.
- Commitment to continuing education and advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee the Restorative Nursing Program per policies and regulations.
- Develop, monitor, and update individualized restorative nursing plans.
- Coordinate care with nursing, therapy, dietary, activities, and other team members.
- Educate and support partners assisting with restorative services.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient participation and progress.
- Assist with fall assessments, investigations, interventions, and follow-up.
- Review fall trends and help develop prevention strategies.
- Recommend equipment and supplies for restorative and fall-prevention programs.
