Job summary
NHC Springfield is seeking a compassionate and organized Restorative Nurse – RN or LPN to support our restorative nursing and fall-prevention programs. This role helps residents maintain mobility, independence, dignity, and quality of life while reducing the risk of falls and complications.
Responsibilities include implementing the Restorative Nursing Program, updating individualized plans, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, documenting progress, and assisting with fall
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee RN or LPN license in good standing.
- Knowledge of restorative nursing practices and long-term care regulations.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, restorative nursing, or fall-prevention experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee the facility’s Restorative Nursing Program in accordance with NHC policies and state and federal regulations.
- Develop, monitor, and update individualized restorative nursing plans.
- Coordinate care with nursing, therapy, dietary, activities, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Educate and support partners assisting with restorative nursing services.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient participation and progress.
- Assist with fall assessments, investigations, interventions, and follow-up.
- Review fall trends and help develop prevention strategies.
- Recommend equipment and supplies needed for restorative and fall-prevention programs.
