Job summary
Diversicare is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide restorative nursing care to residents in our skilled nursing and long-term care centers. You will implement restorative programs, document progress, and collaborate with the nursing team to enhance residents' quality of life.
Applicants should hold a Nursing Assistant Certification, communicate effectively in English, and demonstrate genuine care for residents.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (state required).
- Excellent communication in reading/writing English.
- Ability to accurately document care.
- Genuine care for residents and strong restorative philosophy.
- Willingness to work with the nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Perform restorative nursing programs to improve residents' quality of life.
- Follow routines: ROM, strengthening, ambulation, ADLs, whirlpools.
- Document daily on treatment grid and weekly progress notes.
- Notify supervisor of problems or needs for reassessment.
- Report changes to Director of Nursing and chart significant findings.
- Assist with B/B procedures and participate in team meetings.
- Advocate for residents and maintain professional standards.
