Job summary

The Alden Network seeks a dedicated Restorative Nurse for Alden Estates of Jefferson in Wisconsin. You will lead the restorative nursing program, promoting a restorative philosophy across departments and ensuring patients achieve their highest level of function.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and supervise restorative nursing programs.
• Set up documentation flow sheets and EMR for restorative measures.
• Ensure restorative nursing is reflected in care plans.
• Conduct admission and quarterly functional assessments and advise on restorative care.
• Oversee ADL performance and CNA documentation; manage incontinent programs.
• Participate in or oversee fall prevention and restraint reduction initiatives.

Alden Estates of Jefferson, a renowned post-acute care facility, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Restorative Nurse to join our team! As a Restorative Nurse, you will play a vital role in developing, implementing, and supervising our restorative nursing program, promoting a restorative nursing philosophy among all facility departments, and ensuring participants achieve their highest level of function.

About the Role

As a Restorative Nurse, you will be responsible for:

• Planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing restorative care services, programs, and activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines
• Setting up documentation flow sheets and electronic medical record systems for daily documentation of restorative nursing measures
• Overseeing all restorative nursing measures are reflected on the care plan
• Performing or overseeing functional assessments on admission and quarterly as indicated, consulting with nurses in making recommendations for restorative plan of care, and working with nurses in developing restorative plan of care
• Overseeing ADL performance on units, overseeing C.N.A.'s documentation on ADL's, and overseeing incontinent management programs
• Actively participating or overseeing physical restraint reduction programs and fall management programs

Requirements
