Job summary

Amity Foundation in the United States seeks compassionate Restorative Justice Coordinators to administer the Restorative Justice Healing Initiative (RJHI). You will coordinate, facilitate, and mediate restorative justice conferencing and mentor youth in RJ paths.

You will write reports, collect data, and maintain a therapeutic environment at PGYCC while ensuring safety and accountability for participants. Strong interpersonal, written communication, and empathy are essential, as is background

Qualifications

• Completion of a Restorative Justice Training or Certification program.
• Two years of restorative justice conferencing experience (e.g., Victim Offender Dialogue, Mediation, Conferencing, Circles).
• Background check clearance required by CDCR or equivalent.
• Lived Experience with demonstrated positive transition encouraged.
• Ability to maintain sensitivity and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Administers the Restorative Justice Healing Initiative (RJHI).
• Coordinates, facilitates and mediates restorative justice conferencing.
• Mentors youth involved in RJHI weekly.
• Provides services including youth interactions and youth-on-youth conflict resolution.
• Interfaces with victim services to enable dialogue, amends, and healing.
• Writes and submits reports on conferences including participation and treatment understanding.
• Maintains a therapeutic environment at PGYCC.
