SmileAlive in Eugene, OR is seeking a part-time Restorative Dental Assistant (EFDA/RFC) to join a growing patient-centered practice. You will perform placement and finishing of direct restorations and provide chairside support during complex procedures, educating patients on treatment plans and long-term oral health.

We value continued care scheduling, strong communication, and a commitment to quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant with 3+ years of practice.
• Licenses/certifications: BLS CPR, EFDA, RFC, and LAFC.
• Oregon EFDA and RFC required; LAFC required.

Responsibilities

• Perform placement and finishing of direct restorations (composite and amalgam).
• Provide exceptional chairside support during complex restorative procedures.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and long-term oral health.
• Lead the continued care conversation to ensure patients are scheduled for their next visit.

Your Role & Impact

• Perform placement and finishing of direct restoration (composite and amalgam).
• Provide exceptional chairside support during complex restorative procedures.

Requirements

• Oregon EFDA Certificate and Restorative Functions Certificate (RFC) required.
• Oregon Local Anesthesia Functions Certificate (LAFC) required.
• X‑ray proficiency and current BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum of 2+years of experience in a high-volume, quality –focused restorative environment.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient comfort and education.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Pay: Depending on experience and RFC mastery. $24.00-$35.00 + / hour.
• o Requirements: RFC, LAFC, 90-day probation period and minimum 1-year contract with claw back clauses
