Job summary

Aegis Therapies is hiring a Restorative CNA/Wellness Instructor to join the Rehab Therapy Team in Westminster, MD. The role focuses on delivering wellness, fitness, and exercise programs within Restorative Care for skilled nursing facilities.

You will receive full restorative training on site and work exclusively with the therapy team to support patient mobility and wellbeing. CNA certification is required; prior restorative experience is not necessary.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA in state of practice.
• Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor or similar area, preferred.
• Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide wellness, fitness and exercise programs with the therapy team.
• Assist in restorative care of patients as directed.
• Exclusive restorative responsibilities (ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, ROM, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care).
