Job summary

Aegis Therapies is seeking a Restorative CNA – Wellness Instructor in Evansville, IN to join the Rehab Therapy Team. This full-time role focuses on delivering wellness programs within a skilled nursing setting, with on-site restorative training provided.

CNA certification is required, and experience with seniors is preferred. You will work closely with therapists to implement individualized wellness activities, apply restorative techniques, and support patients through mobility, exercise, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice.
• Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor or similar area, preferred.
• Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wellness, fitness, and exercise programs exclusively with the therapy team.
• Receive full restorative training onsite; no restorative experience required beyond CNA certification.
• Assist in restorative care of patients as directed.
• Perform exclusive restorative tasks (ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, ROM, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care).
