Aegis Therapies is seeking a Restorative CNA - Wellness Instructor in Pella, IA. This role focuses on delivering wellness and exercise programs while collaborating with a therapy team. Qualifications

• Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of practice.
• Specialty certification as personal trainer or similar, preferred.
• Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the therapy team to deliver wellness, fitness, and exercise programs.
• Assist in the restorative care of patients as directed.
• Focus exclusively on restorative responsibilities with limited undesirable tasks.

Restorative CNA - Wellness Instructor

Job Type: PRN

Schedule: Open to full‑time schedule – weekend coverage

Setting: Rehabilitation Center, Skilled Nursing Facility, Senior Care Wellness

Location: Pella, IA

Working with the Rehab Therapy Team

Working with the Rehab Therapy Team.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy and work exclusively with the therapy team to provide knowledge and expertise in delivering appropriate wellness, fitness, and exercise programs.


• Receive full restorative training provided onsite. No restorative experience necessary (CNA Certification Required).


• Assist in the restorative care of patients as directed.


• Exclusive restorative responsibilities (Ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, active/passive range of motion, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care) with limited or no “less desirable” tasks that often accompany a CNA position.
