Hartland Park Health and Rehabilitation in Lexington, KY is seeking a Restorative Aide CNA to support residents' physical and functional abilities under supervision. The role bridges nursing and rehabilitation, following individualized care plans and documenting progress per state and facility rules.

Responsibilities include executing restorative programs, assisting with ADL, and maintaining equipment. Requires Kentucky CNA certification, restorative experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold Kentucky CNA certification.
• Restorative Nursing Aide experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out restorative nursing programs as established by therapy and nursing departments (e.g., ambulation, ROM, ADL retraining).
• Encourage residents to perform activities independently whenever possible.
• Observe, report and document resident progress and changes to staff.
• Provide assistance with daily living activities while maintaining resident dignity and comfort.
• Maintain restorative equipment and ensure safety, cleanliness and storage.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary discussions regarding restorative needs.
• Support a safe, therapeutic environment with infection control and safety procedures.
• Assist in training CNAs in restorative techniques as directed.
• Maintain timely documentation per facility policy and Kentucky regulations.
• Demonstrate positive, respectful attitude toward residents, families and staff.
