Job summary

Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center in Lake Worth Beach, Florida, is seeking a compassionate CNA Restorative Aide to join our interdisciplinary team. This part-time role supports residents' recovery and rehabilitation goals, with every other weekend availability.

Responsibilities include promoting independence, assisting with restorative therapy programs under licensed therapists, monitoring vital signs, helping with ADLs, and collaborating with nurses and therapists to implement individualized

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• High school diploma.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered care, promoting independence, dignity, and comfort to our short-term and long-term residents.
• Assist with restorative therapy programs, including exercise, ambulation, and mobility exercises, under the guidance of licensed therapists.
• Monitor and record vital signs, report changes to nursing staff, and participate in care conferences.
• Perform various activities of daily living (ADLs) and assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
