Qualifications

• CNA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of nursing home experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with assistance as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bath, dress, groom).
• Provide mobility assistance (transfers, ambulation, wheelchair).
• Participate in rehabilitation therapies (physical, occupational, speech).
• Assist with medication management and vital sign monitoring.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and progress.
• Develop rapport with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team.

Education

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

High school diploma or equivalent
