Aviata at Saint Lucie is seeking a qualified Restorative CNA Aide to join our patient- and family-focused team. This role focuses on restorative nursing, direct care, and documentation to support residents in attaining and maintaining maximum function.

Qualifications

• Must possess a CNA license/registration in the state of practice.
• Must maintain a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education to maintain certification.
• Minimum one year of experience preferred in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population.
• Knowledge and skills in basic Restorative CNA principles and practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents receiving restorative care to promote maximum function and minimize decline.
• Provide direct restorative care including dining, splints, ADLs, bowel/bladder management, ROM, ambulation and transfers.
• Encourage residents to participate in programs with verbal cues and safety precautions.
• Maintain documentation on residents participating in Restorative Program and notify management of changes.
