Job summary

NHC West Plains is seeking a dedicated Restorative CNA to join our senior care team. You will implement restorative programs, follow infection control policies, and work closely with nursing and therapy staff to support resident goals.

The role offers a full-time schedule, competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth within a family-oriented workplace. A Tennessee CNA certification or equivalent is required to qualify.

• Must hold Tennessee CNA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, direct, and participate in Restorative Programs initiated for individual patients.
• Communicate with the restorative nursing and therapy team concerning goal setting and approaches to individual patient needs.
• Maintains accurate restorative documentation of all patients, including in the EHR.
• Reports changes in condition or behavior and any unusual incidents.

Restorative Nurse Position Highlights

• Understands and practices universal precautions with all patients. Adheres to isolation precautions and the center’s infection prevention and control policies.
• Oversee, direct, and participate in Restorative Programs initiated for individual patients.
• Communicate with the restorative nursing and therapy team concerning goal setting and approaches to individual patient needs.
• Maintains accurate restorative documentation of all patients participating in any restorative programs, including documentation in the EHR. Reports (and records when appropriate) any changes observed in condition or behavior of patients and any unusual incidents.
