DuPage County is hiring a Certified Nursing and Rehabilitation Aide for the Kenneth Moy Care Center. The role focuses on restorative and maintenance programs to help residents maintain or improve their highest functioning level with safe care.

Shift available is in Physical Therapy: Mon-Fri 7:30am-3:30pm. Excellent benefits include medical, dental, vision, FSA, life insurance, pension, tuition reimbursement, and more. Eligible for paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.

Formación

• Two years of experience as a Certified Nurse’s Aide.
• Completion of the State of Illinois CNA Training program and passing score on the state competency test; active with Illinois registry.
• Certification as CNRA or Restorative Nursing Aide required within six months of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and administer restorative programs (e.g., walking, transfers, bed mobility) and document per RN guidance.
• Administer rehabilitative and maintenance programs (hydrotherapy, ROM, resistive exercises) with PT input.
• Lead CNA team on unit for ADL and bowel/bladder programs.
• Instruct residents, families, and staff on exercise and rehabilitation techniques.
• Assist in developing care plans and task lists and enter them in EMR.
• Assist in completing sections of the MDS and enter in EMR.
• Support departmental meetings, care conferences, and trainings.
