Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services seeks a Restorative Care Technician to provide patient care and mobility tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role includes frequent patient care activities, including lifting and transferring patients with limited weight-bearing capability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or Project Search graduate.
• CPR certification required.
• Must complete rehab content MIS training.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned patient care and mobility tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Make rounds on assigned unit and coordinate patient care with RN and therapists.
• Maintain patient activity assignment sheet and document care in the patient record.
• Maintain necessary supplies and equipment to promote patient care and mobility.
