Job summary

ALIYA Healthcare Consulting in Chicago seeks an experienced Restorative Nurse to lead and oversee the restorative nursing program, ensuring residents achieve and maintain their highest level of well-being through structured restorative care.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, collaboration with therapy and nursing teams, supervision of aides, and meticulous documentation including MDS support and quality outcomes in a SNF setting.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license required.
• Experience in restorative nursing or rehabilitation in a SNF setting.
• Prior leadership or program management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of restorative programs, MDS, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the restorative nursing program in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Assess residents for restorative needs and ensure appropriate programs are initiated and maintained.
• Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans.
• Supervise and train restorative aides and nursing staff on restorative techniques and best practices.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust restorative programs to maximize outcomes.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
• Support MDS assessments and care planning related to restorative services.
• Conduct audits and ensure program compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain restorative equipment and ensure proper use and safety.
• Promote resident independence and quality of life through consistent program oversight.
