Qualifikationen

• Proficiency in at least one art form (visual, media, or performance).
• Experience working with youth, especially in justice-impacted or high-trauma settings.
• Familiarity with restorative and trauma-informed pedagogies.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain professionalism and composure in dynamic, high-need environments.
• Willingness to work in person at assigned camps and halls.
• Valid Department of Probation Live Scan clearance (if over 21) and site clearances as required.

• Design and facilitate engaging, hands-on arts workshops for system-impacted youth using BHAC's Restorative Cultural Arts Praxis.
• Provide constructive feedback and promote safe, respectful classrooms.
• Model professionalism, reliability, and positive communication at all times.
• Develop lesson plans, project outlines, and supply lists tailored to sites and goals.
• Maintain attendance, deliverables, and progress records; upload required documentation on time.
• Coordinate with staff and other Teaching Artists to align curriculum themes and schedules.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and trauma-informed, healing-centered youth engagement.
