Job summary

Kindred Hospital Paramount is seeking a Restorative Aide to support restorative nursing interventions under licensed nurse supervision. The role focuses on promoting independent function and well-being for patients transitioning from rehabilitation or needing custodial care.

Salary is posted as $25.00-$30.00 per hour with per diem scheduling. BS or RNs are not required for this role, but BLS certification is required and prior rehab aide experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• High school diploma or GED
• Six months experience as a Rehab Tech or Restorative Nursing Aide in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred
• Competence with basic computer and technology systems

Responsibilities

• Perform restorative nursing interventions to support patients in reaching maximum functional potential.
• Report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising nurse or therapist.
• Participate in quality management and safety committee activities.
• Assist in collecting quality review data and survey preparation.
• Support cost-effective care delivery and interdisciplinary group activities.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.
• Demonstrate professional behavior in interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Adhere to the standards of professional organizations and internal policies.
• Contribute to client relations and marketing efforts.
• Maintain clinical competency and participate in team meetings.
• Support administrative and clinical efficiency initiatives.
