Job summary

Kindred Hospital - Chicago North, part of Lifepoint Rehabilitation under Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Restorative Aide for a full-time daytime schedule. You will implement restorative programs under therapists, document residents' conditions, assist with transfers and ambulation, and maintain hygiene and safety standards.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED and 6-12 months rehab experience; CPR may be required. Excellent customer service and compassion for older adults are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6-12 months relevant rehab experience recommended.
• CPR certification (when required).
• Willing to participate in on-the-job training after orientation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out restorative programs designed by PT/OT/SLP.
• Document observations and report concerns to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist residents with ambulation, transfers and daily activities; sanitize equipment.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English.
• Provide superior customer service and resident care.
