Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a Restorative Aide to work under the supervision of a licensed nurse, implementing treatment plans from a licensed physical therapist and delivering basic restorative care and rehabilitative programs to residents.

You will help maintain a safe environment, document activities, and support residents through structured programs while upholding clinical policies and excellent care standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of state approved Nursing Assistant Program certified by Maryland Registry.
• Must have a current CNA-1 License from the state of Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe restorative care of the resident.
• Performs documentation on flow sheets and other applicable forms of all restorative care activities.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly resident environment by keeping work area clean and disposing of soiled, contaminated items.
• Reports malfunctioning, broken or hazardous equipment or conditions to supervisor or safety officer.
• Observes policies and procedures as demonstrated through performance of procedures and tasks.
• Provides restorative programs: Splint Program, Dining Program, High Steppers (ambulation) Program, LYFE Today (Living Your Life to its Fullest Everyday) Program, Reach (range of motion) Program.
• Observes resident’s condition and reports changes to supervisor.
• Provides one-on-one training.

Education
