The Restorative Aide role supports the staff OT, PT, or ST by assisting with restoration of patient function after injury or illness. Under supervision, you help patients reach their maximum functioning while working within their capabilities.
Eligible candidates must hold a current CNA on the OKDHS Nurse Aide Registry and complete the Health Restorative Aide Program. Preference is given to those with one year of therapy or restorative aide experience.
Responsible for provision and administration of specific maintenance or conditioning therapy treatments only under the supervision of the staff OT, PT, or ST. The Restorative Aide, as directed and supervised by the staff OT, PT, or ST, assists with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
Requires current CNA with the OKDHS Nurse Aide Registery and completion of Health Restorative Aide Program.
One year experience as a therapy aide, or restorative aide.
