Job summary

Ivy Creek Healthcare in California is seeking a Restorative Aide to perform restorative nursing measures under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services.

You will assist residents with ROM, transfers, ADLs, and feeding, while documenting care and following physician orders. CNA certification and SNF experience are preferred; current Restorative Aide coursework or certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Evidence of job stability is required.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a Restorative Aide class or have a Restorative Aide Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform physician's orders: ROM (passive and active).
• Whirlpool and ambulation (not gait training).
• Transfer techniques and positioning/bed mobility.
• Assist with activities of daily living (dressing, grooming, self-feeding).
• Assist with adaptive devices; apply handroll and splints.
• Document routine notes and weekly progress.
