Job summary

TMC is seeking a Restorative Aide to join our team of therapists serving residents in long term care facilities. You will assist with restorative programs, mobility, ADLs, and positioning to support residents’ quality of life.

As part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team, you will document progress, participate in trainings, and help schedule workloads with the Rehab Director. Compassion for older adults and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate computer proficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and control 50 pounds.
• Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy.

Responsibilities

• Carry out designated restorative programs with identified residents including ROM, splint/brace assistance, mobility, positioning, ADLs, eating/swallowing, and related activities.
• Document resident attendance and participation in designated programs.
• Provide feedback to the interdisciplinary team on status changes of residents receiving therapy.
• Attend facility or TMC training or meetings as requested.
• Schedule and prioritize workload with collaboration from Rehab Director.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines in relation to resident privacy.
• Other duties as assigned.
