Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Restorative Aide to assist in restorative and rehabilitative patient care. The role emphasizes safety, independence, and collaboration with the Patient Care Coordinator.

The successful candidate will hold a state Nursing Assistant certification and be proficient in English, with duties including personal care, restorative tasks, care planning, and attending regular trainings and meetings.

Formación

• Nursing Assistant certification is mandatory.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care to patients in a manner ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist in restorative or rehabilitative care as directed.
• Perform restorative nursing tasks (e.g., ambulation, ROM, positioning, self-feeding) within training scope.
• Promote independence and notify the Patient Care Coordinator of patient status daily.
• Contribute to patient care plans and assist in their implementation per policies.
• Observe and document patient conditions and report findings as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and practice safe lifting/transfer procedures.
• Attend in-service trainings and monthly QA meetings; participate in rehab meetings.
• Track patient weights monthly and weekly as assigned.

Please visit cantexcc.com for more information on this location.Job Summary:The overall purpose of the Restorative Aide position is to assist in the provision of restorative and/or rehabilitative care to patients as appropriate, and to assist in the provision of regular Patient care as may be directed.Qualifications:State certification as a Nursing Assistant is mandatory.Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.Essential Functions:Provide personal care to patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort. Assist in the provision of restorative or rehabilitative care.Performs restorative nursing tasks such as ambulation, range of motion, positioning, self-feeding, etc., within the scope of individuals' training.Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for patients.Advises Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) of Patient's status daily.Contributes knowledge of Patient's conditions/needs to patient care plans.Assists in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.Observes and reports on Patients' conditions and documents observations as required.Promotes safe and clean environment.Complies with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of patients per established policies and procedures.Assists in care and maintenance of therapy area and equipment.Assures that equipment is clean and functional.Attends in-service training programs.Attends monthly Quality Assurance Meetings.Responsible for monthly and weekly weights.Attends weekly rehab meetingsAbility to function as a Team Leader/Role Model.Has reviewed Cantex Continuing Care Network Policy and Procedures for Abuse Prevention and knows the employees responsibility to enforce it.Attends weekly in-services, understands, and complies with Patient Care Management Systems.Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.#CNANRWe are an Equal opportunity employer; We offer an excellent benefit plan to include 401K with match, CEU reimbursement, vacation, sick, holidays, medical, dental, and supplemental insurance Plans as well as a Highly competitive compensation package.
