Rationale: The restorative aide will work with residents needing restorative measures to gain or to maintain their highest practical functional level.
Physical / Occupational / Speech Therapy will be responsible for teaching the restorative aide components of the program devised by therapists to be carried out on residents with a restorative nursing program.
Communication: Demonstrate the ability to present ideas and information in a concise, effective, and interpersonally appropriate manner through written and oral forms.
Education: Nurses Aide Training Program approved by the Department of Health and Human Services with a passing score on the Nurses Aide Certification Exam.
