Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a Restorative Aide who works under a licensed nurse to implement treatment and rehabilitative plans. You will perform restorative care programs and document activities to support resident well-being.

Qualified applicants hold a Maryland CNA-1 license and have completed a state-approved Nursing Assistant program. This on-site role offers competitive pay and benefits as part of our team focused on compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of state approved Nursing Assistant Program certified by Maryland Registry.
• Must have a current CNA-1 License from the state of Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe restorative care of the resident
• Performs documentation on flow sheets and other applicable forms of all restorative care activities.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly resident environment by keeping work area clean and disposing of soiled, contaminated items.
• Reports malfunctioning, broken or hazardous equipment or conditions to supervisor or safety officer.
• Observes policies and procedures as demonstrated through performance of procedures and tasks.
• Provides restorative programs: Splint Program
• Provides restorative programs: Dining Program
• Provides restorative programs: High Steppers (ambulation) Program
• Provides restorative programs: LYFE Today (Living Your Life to its Fullest Everyday) Program
• Provides restorative programs: Reach (range of motion) Program
• Observes resident’s condition and reports changes to supervisor
• Provides one-on-one training

Overview

At FutureCare the Restorative Aide works under the supervision of a licensed nurse, implementing treatment plans recommended by a licensed physical therapist. The Restorative Aide is responsible for implementing basic restorative care programs and rehabilitative programs.
