Job Description

We are seeking a Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will respond to residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, and wind damage. The role involves assessing the extent of the damage, performing necessary repairs, and ensuring that the affected areas are restored to their pre-damaged condition. The candidate must be capable of working efficiently under pressure and be available for on-call rotation, including nights and weekends. Experience in demolition, water extraction, and hazardous material containment is preferred, but we will train the right candidate. Restoration Technician Duties And Responsibilities

Review daily work orders to prioritize tasks.

Identifying and locating damage in the client's facility and preparing for demolition if necessary.

Repairing or replacing materials and frames to restore the property to its pre-damaged condition.

Cleaning up work areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.

Properly maintaining and storing tools and equipment for efficient use.

Assessing the extent of the damage and performing water extraction as part of the restoration process.

Follow all safety regulations and best practices to ensure a secure work environment.

Proficiency with restoration equipment is essential for carrying out restoration tasks effectively. Employees must be familiar with and utilize this equipment as a restoration technician.

Driving company vehicles and maintaining a valid driver's license to respond to emergency calls and travel to different job sites.

Availability to travel to other offices within the company to assist with surge events.

Complete the Daily Field Sheet packets and document your work using the company's software.

As a restoration technician, you must be available for on-call rotation, including nights and weekends, to provide 24/7 emergency response.

Restoration Technician Requirements And Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Current WRT/ASD Certification (preferred)

Must follow all safety regulations

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Must undergo a pre-employment screening
