Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a Restoration Technician to address residential and commercial losses from water and fire damage. You will perform specialty mitigation, light demolition, water extraction, cleaning, mold abatement, content handling, and related tasks.

Compensation starts at $18-$20 per hour and is negotiable based on experience; we provide extensive training, paid training, overtime opportunities, health and dental coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401K

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Previous restoration experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel out of town.
• Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs.
• Pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to locations designated by customers.
• Execute all work to meet or exceed applicable federal, state and local regulations and company and customer quality standards while providing world-class customer service.
• Become proficient in fire and water restoration, as well as mold abatement.
• Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC and ServiceMaster standards.
